Hey all!
It’s been another busy week, and we’ve made some solid progress on the Player Manager system. This is meant for management teams and squads and is a great companion to games that utilize lobbies and/or different game modes. I wanted to share the latest updates and some thoughts on where we’re headed next.
State of the Player Manager
The core of the Player Manager revolves around handling team creation and management, so we’ve been focusing on ensuring this is intuitive for users. Right now, players can be assigned to different teams dynamically during runtime. I’ve also added support for dynamically spawning team-based UI elements, which means when new teams are created, the interface automatically updates to display their info without any manual setup. So whether you’re building a large team game or small team tactical shooter, the system adapts to your needs.
Squads are also implemented! They are smaller units within teams, and we’ve started building the framework for managing these subgroups. The idea is that each squad can operate independently while still being part of a larger team.
What’s Next?
We will continue to make steady progress, of course, but if you have feedback, please let us know how we can improve the system to help meet your needs.

Next week, we will take a first look at the Online Multiplayer Framework!
With kind regards,
