Fab Launch

by | Devlog

Hey all!

I wanted to take a quick moment to update you on the launch of Fab, formerly known as the Epic Marketplace. We’ve been prepping for this transition for a while, and now that Fab is live, we’re here to help navigate you to the updated Games By Hyper storefront.

Finding Games By Hyper Assets

When you’re looking specifically for our content, use the search bar and type either “Hyper” or “Games by Hyper,” and you’ll see all of our assets. After the search, you will also see a ‘Creator’ tab under the search where you can go and click Games by Hyper to go directly to the storefront, or just bookmark Games By Hyper and make it easy!

Asset Page Changes

One of the main differences is that you’ll now find multiple License Type options on each asset page. This change will let users choose between Personal or Professional licenses, to fit their project release needs. For those of you who are already owners of Hyper assets, you’ll see a green checkmark with “Owned” next to it instead. We are going through all assets and making sure all links are working as expected but please let us know if you come across one that doesn’t.

Verification Process

Due to the site changes, there is no longer a way for us to use our bot to confirm your purchase via the product page. So, until Epic makes a change, we will be manually verifying new purchases via order number. We will be sure to keep you informed on any changes to the verification process, which we hope Epic will change well before the next phase of systems come out (still estimated by end of year or early 2025).

What’s Next?

Our team is continuing the amazing work on the next phases of systems. As you’ve seen with the weekly devlogs, we’re diving deeping into new RPG and Shooter related systems to enhance our content lineup even further. Make sure you have your notifications turned on here, YouTube, Patreon, etc to keep up with our Devlogs and updates over the coming months as we roll out some exciting new community features and our new game systems that we think will really enhance your projects.

Thank you in advance for your patience with the transition to Fab. If there are any issues with purchasing or verification, please let us know. We hope this new platform will make everyone’s project life a bit easier as they work out all of the kinks. Happy deving!

With kind regards,

Eric Ruts
