Description
Hyper Integration Tool
Combine the Hyper modules you own into one Unreal project. The free Hyper Integration Tool scans source projects, checks versions, merges DataTables and prepares a combined project with the detected systems.
What it handles
- Project discovery: scan the supplied source folder for compatible Hyper projects.
- Version checks: work with matching Unreal Engine versions and compatible current Hyper releases.
- Data merging: combine the relevant DataTables.
- Project setup: generate the integrated framework and assign UI categories for detected systems.
- Optional online integrations: use the documented plugin folders and checkboxes when you have the relevant Steam or EIK integration.
How to use it
- Extract the download, install Python and read the included readme.
- Place your latest Hyper projects in
PlaceHyperProjectsHere, or select another source folder. - Run
RunHyperIntegrationTool.pyw. - Choose the output folder, project name and Unreal Editor installation.
- Click Scan, select the projects and choose Create Integration Project.
- Open the generated project and review its GameMode, tag mapper and required world actors using the documentation.
The tool prepares the common setup. Project-specific adjustments may still be needed, particularly where a generated example references a module you do not own.

Frequently asked questions
Does the tool replace all project-specific integration work?
The tool combines compatible Hyper projects and prepares the shared setup. You still connect your own character, GameMode and custom systems, and review the generated project.
Can I combine different engine or Hyper versions automatically?
Use matching Unreal Engine versions and compatible Hyper releases. The tool is made for the latest Hyper version, V5. It does not convert mismatched releases into compatible ones. Follow the Integration Tool walkthrough (https://gamesbyhyper.com/docs/getting-started/use-the-automatic-integration-tool/) to scan your source projects and review the combined project.
Which Unreal Engine and Hyper version should I use?
For new Hyper framework projects, we recommend V5 on Unreal Engine 5.8. The framework generations correspond to these engine versions:
V5: Unreal Engine 5.8.
V4: Download under Unreal Engine 5.7. V4 projects also work on Unreal Engine 5.8 after switching the project version. C++ plugins must be compiled for UE 5.8.
V3: Unreal Engine 5.5 and 5.6.
V2: earlier Unreal Engine 5 releases, through 5.4.
V1: Unreal Engine 4.
This is the framework's version history. Check the supported releases for the products you intend to use; newer products may not have older generations, and independent plugins have their own compatibility requirements. When combining systems, use matching Unreal Engine versions and compatible Hyper releases. Follow the integration guide (https://gamesbyhyper.com/docs/getting-started/use-the-automatic-integration-tool/) for setup.
Where are the setup guides and support?
