Description
RPG Adventure Foundation Early Access Demo
This demo is an early access showcase of RPG Adventure Foundation in its current state. It gives visitors a hands-on look at the project presentation and the kind of RPG foundation the final pack is being built around.
For now, this demo is available to subscribers only. You can subscribe here: https://gamesbyhyper.com/subscription/
Please note that this demo uses selected and super awesome Leartes Studios assets as example showcase content. These third-party environment assets are used to present the demo more clearly, but they are not included in the eventual RPG Adventure Foundation pack at this time. The final pack will focus on the RPG Adventure Foundation content itself. The Leartes assets may be offered separately, linked as recommended companion assets, or possibly made available later as part of a combination deal, depending on what becomes possible.
Early Access Notice
This demo is still in active development and is not a final product build. Bugs, crashes, missing polish, placeholder balancing, and save/load issues are expected at this stage.
If you find a bug that is not listed here, please report it. Clear reports with the area, action, and what happened are especially helpful.
Known Issues
- Gameplay crashes can still happen, especially in and around the castle area.
- Some level instance spawns are not restored correctly after saving and loading. For example, the guard at the gate may be missing after loading.
- Equipping the Epic Adventurer Sword while a bow is equipped can cause the weapon to disappear.
- Tooltips for ranged weapons can appear much too large.
- The crystal dialogue may not remember previously asked questions after exiting the conversation, so the same question may need to be asked again.
- Compass markers should clamp to the edge of the screen when targets are off-screen, but this behavior is not fully working yet.
- Focused minimap markers need the same edge-clamping behavior.
- Some map elements can appear black deeper inside the cave.
- Equipment slots do not always show the correct rarity colors.
- The spawn validator can incorrectly fail the “spawned from save” check while travelling. This may be more likely when alt-tabbing, but it is not fully confirmed yet.
- After travelling away and returning, a door may still be locked when it should be available.
- Character input can remain active while a sequence is playing.
- Captain Renar may be missing after saving and loading in the rebel camp.
- Map fog may reset unexpectedly.
- Captain Renar may not show the correct quest marker after starting the defense quest.
- Old quest markers can remain visible on the map after all quests have been completed.
Third-Party Asset Notice
The following Leartes Studios / Cosmos assets are used in the demo as example showcase environments only and are not currently included with the RPG Adventure Foundation pack:
